Question: Tankless water heaters (cost of utility bills monthly by random people)?

I wanted to know how much people are paying a month using TANKLESS WATER HEATERS. Are they worth it? I have everything I need and am more than qualified to install one myself but if it's not going to save me much I will sell it. I wanted some people to let me know what they are saving a month to go tankless if any. Thanks in advance.

My father installed one at my mother's house (she lives alone and they are divorced). I do not know what the costs are, but he recently commented to me that it would not be worth it if it were a whole family living there. It happens to be my mother alone, who does a few dishes and a shower, but he said it would not be practical for a family. Not sure if he meant energy production-wise or cost-wise, but that's my two cents. Good Luck.
