Electrician and plumbers are about $65 per hour. Most have a minimum charge. This one takes 110V so electrical should not be difficult. Plumbing should be standard also. My estimate is that installation would run no more than $150 total. Call around andget estimates. Estimates by phone are free. Or you can do part or all of it yourself.

Tankless waters or (On Demand) waters do not heat the water unless you open a hot water faucet. In doing this your heater isn't heating the water all the time like a standing water heater does. You can get the tankless heater in gas or electric depending on your choice. If you are handy with plumbing you can install the heater yourself and save yourself some money. As for the cost to install the heater the prices do vary a little from area to area. Depending on your area, you might contact a couple or so different plumbing contractors and get a quote from them as to what the cost will be. It would probably be a little cheaper if you purchased the heater yourself and then had someone install it for you because the contractors will mark the price up some if they get it. Make sure you know how big of an area the heater will cover so you won't get to small of a heater if you intend to use the heater to cover your entire house. Sometimes it takes two or three heaters to cover the area of a larger house. Once you open a hot faucet the heater then starts to heat the water coming through it. When you shut the water off the heater stops heating. You might ask around to some of your friends or co-workers and see if they know of someone who could install the heater for you. Usually someone knows someone who does this type of work.
