It's volume(flow rate) not pressure that tells the burner to lite. The default temp on these heaters is usually 122(f). our first inclination is usually to set the temp higher. you actually need to lower the temp down to about 110 or so, so that you don't have to add so much cold water which reduces the flow of water thru the burner chamber causing the burner to shut off. If you have a shower valve with a separate temp. control, set it as high as you can, then adjust your shower temp. at the water heater. this sounds crazy, and it will be a process but it works. I had to add a small 6 gal electric tankless under the kitchen sink for hotter water there. Good Luck !! you can Email me if you want. |
